Installation:

A licensed plumber is required for installation according to local regulations. Begin by turning off the breaker and disconnecting the electrical supply. Shut off the cold-water inlet and open a nearby faucet to relieve pressure. Mount the tank vertically on a sturdy wall within 2 ft of the fixture to minimize wait time. Connect the cold-water supply to the inlet, and hot-water outlet to the fixture. Attach the included pressure-temperature (P/T) relief valve and drain. Wire the unit to a dedicated 120 V circuit per the wiring diagram. Restore water and power, then check for leaks and ensure proper heating.

Maintenance:

Annually drain and flush the tank to remove sediment and maintain heating efficiency. Periodically inspect supply lines, fittings, and relief valve for signs of corrosion or leaks. Test the P/T relief valve by lifting its lever to ensure it discharges briefly, then reseals. Replace the anode rod every 2–3 years in areas with hard water to extend tank life.
