INSTALLATION

Before installing the replacement cartridge, shut off the water supply to the filter system. Remove the old cartridge by rotating it 1/4 turn to the left and pulling it down from the filter head. The automatic shut-off valve inside the head will engage as the filter is removed to prevent water leakage. Align the new VersaFilter III cartridge (#041145-001) with the filter head and push it upward, then rotate 1/4 turn to the right until it locks into place. Restore water supply and check for leaks. Run water through the system for at least 1 minute to flush out any air and carbon fines. For indoor use only. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection.

MAINTENANCE

Replace the VersaFilter III cartridge (#041145-001) every 12 months or when the filter capacity of 4,750 gallons (17,980L) is reached, whichever comes first. Ensure the system operates within specified parameters: water temperature between 35°F (2°C) to 100°F (38°C), pressure between 20 psi (1.4 bar) to 125 psi (8.6 bar), and flow rate of 1.50 gpm (5.68 Lpm). This cartridge is designed for cold water supply lines only. Regular replacement ensures optimal filtration performance for reducing chlorine, taste, odor, particulate, lead, cysts, and microplastics. The filter provides mechanical and chemical filtration with sediment reduction down to nominal 0.5 micron.
