INSTALLATION

Flush line prior to installation. Use ribbon pipe seal tape only. Install hand-tight - do not wrench on hex. Install unit plumb. Mount with minimum 12" elevation above finished floor. Install on cold fresh water line of 1½" diameter or less near a fixture that creates a minimum 10 PSIG pressure drop. Allow 1 foot of elevation for every 20 feet of distance for floor drain makeup line. Use debris loop to prevent foreign matter from entering the primer. Operating range: 20-80 PSIG.

MAINTENANCE

Cycle primer at least 5 times to ensure proper activity after installation. Periodically check that all drain supply lines remain clear to ensure proper discharge to trap. Do not subject valve to pressure exceeding 80 PSI. Check connections regularly for leaks. Do not install on water heater lines due to insufficient pressure drop. Verify primer continues to deliver proper water discharge to floor drains. Clean any debris from system as needed to prevent water discharge through air gap port.
